AMD details its Fusion chips

AMD's Fusion strategy started out as hybrid CPU-GPU chips and then moved on to becoming a more general purpose branding excercise.
Now,after years of previews, the company is ready to take the wrap off its first Fusion products.Currently codenamed "Bobcat" and "Bulldozer" ,the first two architectures are aimed at low-power notebooks and high performance deskop respectively. These are entirely new x86 architectures, and are already being described as the company's most significant new core designs in over a decade.A new family of APUs,or Accelerated Processing Units,is also on the way.
